BMG Group Welcomes Government and Defence Delegation

Key Manufacturing and Bespoke Aluminium, companies within the Bespoke Manufacturing Group (BMG), recently welcomed representatives from Government and Defence departments for a site visit to showcase the group's advanced manufacturing capabilities and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

The visit highlighted the depth of expertise, innovation, and engineering excellence across the Bespoke Manufacturing Group. As Australia's manufacturing landscape continues to evolve, strengthening relationships between industry and government is increasingly important to support sovereign capability, resilient supply chains, and the delivery of high-quality Australian Made products.

Guests were welcomed for a comprehensive tour of the facilities, gaining first hand insight into the technologies, processes, and skilled workforce that underpin the group's operations. The visit demonstrated the precision, quality, and technical expertise behind every stage of production, from design and engineering through to fabrication, finishing, assembly, and final delivery.

The Bespoke Manufacturing Group brings together a portfolio of specialised manufacturing companies, combining decades of industry experience with a broad range of capabilities. The group delivers integrated manufacturing solutions for customers across the automotive, commercial, industrial, government, and defence sectors.

Throughout the visit, discussions focused on the growing role Australian manufacturers play in supporting future infrastructure, transport, and defence projects. The ability to design, engineer, and manufacture locally not only strengthens Australia's sovereign industrial capability but also provides greater flexibility, quality assurance, reduced lead times, and more resilient supply chains. These advantages continue to position Australian manufacturers as trusted partners in delivering complex, high value projects.

A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to showcase projects from across the Bespoke Manufacturing Group, demonstrating both the diversity of the group's expertise and its commitment to continuous innovation.

Among the featured projects were two electric door canopy builds from Gitsham Automotive, another company within the Bespoke Manufacturing Group. These vehicles incorporate the only Australian made and crash tested canopy system. Designed and manufactured in South Australia, this canopy system reflects the group's commitment to safety, performance, and innovation while reinforcing the value of investing in Australian manufacturing capability.
