AFMA 2026 Conference Highlights

Gitsham Automotive and Bott Storage Systems Australia, proudly part of Bespoke Manufacturing Group (BMG Group), were pleased to exhibit at the 2026 Australasian Fleet Management Association (AFMA) Conference & Exhibition, one of Australia's leading events for the fleet industry.

The two day conference brought together fleet managers, government departments, utilities, emergency services, procurement professionals and industry suppliers from across Australia and New Zealand, creating an ideal platform to discuss emerging trends, industry challenges and the future of fleet management.

Throughout the exhibition, the team showcased the extensive capabilities of both Gitsham Automotive and Bott Storage Systems, demonstrating how locally manufactured vehicle fitout systems and premium storage solutions can improve safety, productivity and operational efficiency for modern fleets.

A major highlight was Gitsham Automotive's Australian made, crash tested service body canopy, featuring Electric Doors. Designed and manufactured in South Australia, the innovative canopy attracted significant attention from fleet operators looking for smarter, safer and more efficient service body systems.

Visitors were able to experience firsthand the quality of the engineering, practical design features and the flexibility available to tailor each canopy to specific operational requirements.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with existing customers, introduce our systems to new organisations and discuss the evolving requirements of Australian fleet operators. Conversations throughout the conference highlighted the increasing demand for Australian made products, innovative vehicle fitouts and integrated storage solutions that improve workplace safety, maximise productivity and reduce whole of life operating costs.
